For the Troops: Students gather donations and write letters for the military that are stationed abroad
Moorpark Zoo: Students learn more about the different animals including their adaptations and habitats
Guest Speaker- Band Director to give a lesson on sound and vibrations
American Symbols Performance: Students learn about each symbol, create a scrapbook about the information they have learned, and then develop student driven performance from that information
Virtual Field Trips: Taken regularly throughout the year to explore new topics
SeeSaw: Electronic student created portfolio where parents can access their child’s work and comment and share
Character building: activities including, books, mindfulness activities, and discussions, throughout the year, to develop and encourage positive character traits (kindness, team building, grit)
